Strengths based approach to mental health troubles

It’s important to look at the people with mental health issues for who they are. This calls for looking at their strengths and not their deficits. This includes looking at the people’s environment, the individual and their community for strengths. Put together we get a good idea of how they can succeed with their own goals – that’s right mental health issues are just a part of the person. It doesn’t define them. Hence the necessity to address their goals, dreams and wishes as they see fit.

Cheers to new perspectives to mental health.
