Self-care is anything we do that helps maintain our physical, mental or emotional health. It helps us stay healthy, manage our stressful situations better, and helps us recharge! Simple but effective ways to self-care:
1. Make time for it. Scheduling “Me-time” is first and foremost.
2. Digital Detox. Keep away devices while taking care of oneself.
3. Attuning with Self. Keeping in touch with our own feelings at the moment.
These simple steps will go a long way in taking care of ourselves through meditation, yoga, breathing exercises, reading books and other interesting activities we may have planned for ourselves as reserved only for “vacations”, even while speeding through our days to make life more enjoyable.
